• Implementing an intensive program to rationalize electrical energy in homes and street lighting.
• Implementing projects for the transmission of electrical energy.
• Purchasing electrical energy produced from generating stations that are authorized for local and foreign investors. Created, and sold on ultra-high voltage networks.
• Managing the National Control Center in order to supervise the production, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy.
• Regulate traffic loads related to high voltage networks over the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• Management, operation, and maintenance of transmission networks on high voltages, the sale of electrical energy on these voltages throughout the Republic, and the optimal use of these networks.
• The company also pays special attention to cooperation with Arab and African companies and bodies, whether to form joint companies in the field of engineering consultancies such as the Libyan-Egyptian Company (ISESCO) and the Syrian-Egyptian.
• Management, operation, and maintenance of transmission networks on high voltage to sell the electric power of these voltages over the Republic, and make good use of these networks.
