On Behalf of the Prime Minister - Dr. Mahmoud Ismat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Departs for Namibia to Participate in the African Global Hydrogen Summit
Dr. Mahmoud Ismat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, departed from Cairo this evening, Monday, heading to Namibia to represent Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly at the African Global Hydrogen Summit. The summit will take place in Windhoek, the Namibian capital, from September 3-5, 2024, under the theme "From Ambition to Action: Maximizing the Green Industrial Revolution in Africa." The event will bring together heads of countries, government agencies, industry pioneers, project developers, investors, thought pioneers , and technologists from across Africa and around the world. It will also involve key stakeholders focusing on directing investments and financing towards viable green energy projects and showcasing Egyptian projects and investments in hydrogen, renewable energy, infrastructure, transportation, and more.

cooperation between the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) and the Network of Excellence Training Centers in Africa (ANCEE), a subsidiary of the African Power Utilities Association (APUA)
On Monday 24/06/2024, Smart Grid – SCADA laboratories were inaugurated, which the APUA bore their entire value through funding from the African Development Bank, within the framework of the project to develop distinguished training centers affiliated with the African Network of Centers of Excellence in Electricity (ANCEE).
The ANCEE of the APUA expressed its readiness to finance a project to develop its training centers, and the Electricity Holding Company expressed its desire to establish the Smart Grid – SCADA laboratories at the Mokattam Training Center of the South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company.

Egypt' role towards African Countries towards cooperation and support for the preparation of New Human Cadres in the field of Electricity and Energy.
Under the guidance of his excellency Mr. Abdel Fattah Al - Sisi president of, Arab Republic of Egypt, to strengthen cooperation among African states. The Electricity and Energy sector attaches particular importance for building and preparing African Countries human resources. Over the past two weeks, 48 interns were received from six African countries ( Djibouti, Somalia, Tanzania, South Sudan, Kenya and Rwanda) to attend the following training programmes :
- operation and maintenance of transportation networks.
- Economic operation of power plants.
- smart networks.
- Solar Energy Technology and Energy efficiency.

Today is the opening of the Solar Energy and direct storage Exhibition in the Middle East and North Affrica (MENA) 2024 for a couple of days from may 29 till 30 2024 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo.
