The Electricity and Energy sector attaches particular importance for building and preparing African Countries human resources. Over the past two weeks, 48 interns were received from six African countries ( Djibouti, Somalia, Tanzania, South Sudan, Kenya and Rwanda) to attend the following training programmes : - operation and maintenance of transportation networks. - Economic operation of power plants. - smart networks. - Solar Energy Technology and Energy efficiency.

Under the guidance of his excellency Mr. Abdel Fattah Al - Sisi president of, Arab Republic of Egypt, to strengthen cooperation among African states. The Electricity and Energy sector attaches particular importance for building and preparing African Countries human resources. Over the past two weeks, 48 interns were received from six African countries ( Djibouti, Somalia, Tanzania, South Sudan, Kenya and Rwanda) to attend the following training programmes :
- operation and maintenance of transportation networks.
- Economic operation of power plants.
- smart networks.
- Solar Energy Technology and Energy efficiency.
These training programmes were implemented as part of the implementation of the grant provided by the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Energy to African Countries through the project of "Cooperation with African countries". The duration of the training has been extended for two weeks for each training course, including field visits to the sites of the holding company for the Electricity, also of its subsidiaries and renewable companies and local manifacturing companies.
In this regard, the completion of training and the delivery of the certificates took place today in the presence of Mr. Eng/ Osama Asran, Deputy minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mr Eng/ Gaber Desouky chairman of the holding company of Electricity, in the ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy in the new Administrative Capital and in the presence of the leaders of the Egyptian Electricity sector.

Participants expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the people of Egypt and the leadership for the outstanding role and the efforts of the Egyptian Electricity and Energy sector to its African siblings. They also paid tribute to the warm reciption and the quality of the training content and the efficiency of the Egyptian trainers and the development of the workplaces and their fascination with the archaeological sites and their sense of reassurance in their second country Egypt, stressing that they will work to transfer the experience gained from Egypt during that period to their country.

Egypt's Electricity and Renewable Energy sector has successfully developed and implemented training programmes for nearly 9300 trainees from African and Arab countries. The sector continues to transfer its expertise to African and Arab siblings, provide technical support and assist these countries in preparing their national plans, especially in the field of Electricity to meet sustainable development goals.
